Celebrating Perth Amboy Through Arts & Culture
For Earth Day April 22, 2024 local artist Nina Iglesias painted an Oyster Catch Basin Mural to help highlight the importance of Oysters in cleaning water in Raritan Bay and to remind us to keep the streets and catch basins clean so that we can protect our water from pollution and reduce local flooding. The mural was commissioned by Perth Amboy Artworks. This makes 6 catch basin murals produced by Perth Amboy Artworks.
This summer learn to dance salsa in group dance lessons by premiere Latin Dance Schools and instructors. Then enjoy open dancing to Live Salsa bands! Salsa by the Bay takes place monthly this summer in beautiful Bayview Park on the Perth Amboy Waterfront located at 250 Water St in Perth Amboy NJ. The event is free and open to the public. Chef Deluxe Me Food Truck will be selling delicious food.

Free parking is available at the Perth Amboy Marina on Front St. Bathrooms are located at the Perth Amboy Marina. Chef Deluxe Me Food Truck will be serving delicious food. On Front Street you will also find Bayside Creamery Ice Cream Parlor, the Barge Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge and the Armory Restaurant and Tiki Bar. Bayview Park has benches and picnic tables at the base of the park. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural Arts Trust Fund.

Returning to the Perth Amboy Waterfront at the Historic Ferry Slip Perth Amboy Artworks presents the Middlesex County Jazz Festival on Friday Sept 27 from 6-8pm. Headliners are Julien Meyers and Joseph Frame.
